ShunHong Electric is a privately owned manufacturer of voltage transformers and converters, founded in 1987 and based in Foshan, Guangdong, China. For 39 years the company has done one thing end to end: research, development, production and sales of voltage conversion equipment — with more than 10 million units manufactured to date.

A range built around real use cases

ShunHong produces single-phase and three-phase transformers from 60VA to 16000VA. The range maps directly to the situations customers actually bring:

• Step-down and step-up converters (60VA–16000VA) — for running 110V North American appliances on 220–240V mains, and the reverse

• Pure-copper isolating transformers — the TGL series (2000–16000VA) and TGLD series (300–1000VA), for audio, medical and precision applications where galvanic isolation matters

• Two-way (step-up/step-down) units — for families and companies moving between 110V and 220V regions

• Industrial continuous-duty models — reinforced flame-retardant metal housings, built for sustained loads

Every unit follows the same specification: a 220–240V input range covering Europe, the Middle East and Asia, a 110V ±10% output, and US-standard output receptacles so North American appliances plug in directly. Input plugs — Type C, E, F and UK Type G — are fitted at the factory for the destination market.

Materials and process, not slogans

Thirty-nine years of manufacturing shows up in two unglamorous places: raw materials and process control. ShunHong winds its premium lines in pure copper rather than aluminium — the difference is efficiency, heat and service life, and it is why a 2000VA pure-copper unit weighs more than twice its aluminium counterpart. Housings on industrial models are flame-retardant metal with convection venting sized for continuous duty.

This is also why we publish real specifications — weight, VA rating, input range — instead of headline wattage. A buyer who knows what to look for will find it on the label.

Certification: quality claims you can check

ShunHong holds CE, FCC, RoHS and CQC certification across the entire product range, with transformer safety tested to EN 61558-1. CE is a manufacturer's declaration of conformity, and we support ours with the documents importers and marketplaces actually request: the EU Declaration of Conformity and the underlying test reports.

OEM / ODM from a single unit

ShunHong supports partners at both extremes: one custom unit for an individual relocating abroad, and full container orders for importers and brands. Customisation covers input plug type, housing, output receptacles, voltmeter options and private-label branding.
