This October, ShunHong Electric celebrates its 39th anniversary. Since our founding in 1987 in Foshan, Guangdong, one thing has not changed: we build voltage converters and transformers that households and businesses around the world rely on every day.
What began as a small workshop producing a single product has grown into a manufacturer covering the full range of voltage conversion — from a 60VA unit for personal devices to a 9000VA isolating transformer for whole-appliance setups. Along the way, more than 10 million ShunHong units have left our factory for homes, workshops and export partners on five continents.
The early ShunHong made one thing, and made it well. Demand taught us the rest. Customers relocating abroad needed a reliable step-down transformer to run their 110V appliances on 220–240V mains; exporters needed the reverse; audio lovers and medical users needed full galvanic isolation. Today the range includes:

Every unit shares the same specification philosophy: a 220–240V input range covering Europe, the Middle East and Asia, a 110V ±10% output, and US-standard output receptacles so North American appliances plug in directly.
Our founding principle — quality as the basis, innovation as the soul — is easiest to explain through paperwork. ShunHong holds CE, FCC, RoHS and CQC certification across the entire product range, with transformer safety tested to EN 61558-1. For European buyers, CE is a manufacturer's declaration of conformity, and we back ours with documentation that importers and marketplaces can actually use: the EU Declaration of Conformity and the test reports behind it.
Three decades of OEM and ODM work have shaped this discipline. Custom input plugs — Type C, E, F and UK Type G — are fitted at the factory, because a transformer that cannot physically connect to the wall is useless no matter how good its windings are.
Anniversaries are made of other people's trust. To our distributors and import partners who have carried ShunHong products into new markets year after year; to our employees, whose hands have built every one of those 10 million units; and to the families who plug a ShunHong converter into the wall and simply expect it to work — thank you. You are the reason a workshop founded in 1987 is still growing.
The next chapter focuses on the same two commitments: energy-efficient designs that respond to tightening environmental standards, and manufacturing flexibility — from a single custom unit to full container orders — for the importers and brands who build on ShunHong as their OEM partner.
